The Foreign Exchange - Daykeeper (Live)

So after thoroughly enjoying this Live album from Foreign Exchange, I decided that it was imperative that I share with you this incredible rendition of the group's Grammy nominated single, "Daykeeper." The switch up towards the end is one of the most amazing things Ive ever heard done live before, and they even pay tribute to Roy Hargrove. If I had more thumbs, I would give this joint 17 thumbs up. You can purchase the new CD/DVD Live set from The Foreign Exchange here, or download the music and full video from iTunes.

New visuals from Travis Barker's Give The Drummer Some, featuring the speed rap mafia...

Frank Ocean - Thinking About You

Frank Ocean took to his Tumblr earlier this week to release this new joint. No word on where it's going, if anywhere. But enjoy it now...

Head over to his tumblr to download, since the DMCA doesnt like for us to help artists spread the music that they post themselves...

Peedi Crakk ft. Poerilla, Cuban Link & Lil Eto - Damn It Feel Good To Be A Gangsta (Video)

Just for the record... Peedi Crakk is one of the most underrated.

Boring ass video from Spitta and International Jones. The song is dope though...

Raphael Saadiq – Movin’ Down The Line (Don’t You Go Away) (Video)

New video from Rapheal Saadiq's album Stone Rollin'. I'm surprised Poet hasn't posted this yet. Since he's obsessed with Raph. OBSESSED. It's unhealthy.

Miguel Jontel - Quickie

New video from Miguel. I hate that he dropped the Jontel. Miguel just seems to common for him to just be "MIGUEL." You know? Or maybe I'm crazy... Anyways....

Black Hippy - Toca Tuesdays Freestyle (Video)

We brought you the audio rip last week, and now you can watch them spit the verses with your eyes.

Stalley - Pound (Video)

If you ask me who XXL slept on this year with their Freshman list, I'd tell you Stalley. And Emilio Rojas. And Dom Kennedy. Well, okay, so they sucked this year save Kendrick, KRIT and CyHi. But anyways, Stalley is awesome. Maybach Music is getting him more exposure, and I'm thrilled about that. Peep the video....

Childish Gambino's "Camp" Album Cover

I dig Donald Glover's musical persona, Childish Gambino. Even if Monk doesnt. But still, this is the cover for his upcoming album, Camp. I'm not sure how I feel about all these TREES and LEAVES on his covers lately. But thats probably just the hipster in him... Anyways, Camp coming soon...

Diggy - Copy, Paste (Video)

Aloe Blacc - Billie Jean (Live Preformance)

MOMENTS WITH ALOE BLACC, MIKI AND JAYBO: "BILLIE JEAN" PART 6/6 from MADE Blog on Vimeo.

I've had the first version Aloe put out of this, on my Ipod for about a year now....that shit works with the ladies yo. Love this shit. Good to see another live version of it come out. I've always been a fan of covering a song, while making it something unlike the original.

Slaine - Trail of Blood (video)

World with no Skies 2.0 will be out Aug 16th.

Teta Chico - Pimps ft. Bun B & Big K.R.I.T.

So Tity Boi finally got the memo that he should probably change his name? Well thats good....wait, changing it to the same name but in spanish doesn't really help the cause....but whatever. K.R.I.T.'s slowly getting enough tracks together with Bun B to form a duo.......mmmhmm.

Joell Ortiz - Night Train Rmx (ft Novel, Bun B, Tech N9ne)

Joell let go of a Remix of one of my favorite songs from this past year. It features Bun B and Tech N9ne. The Killa Clown murdered this shit.

Aceyalone - Pray for Rain

The day's of, me getting to post dope music from the artist I came up on seem to be WAY too few and far in between. Aceyalone was a huge influence on me musically. And like all good things, well you know the saying. He started putting out hot garbage as of late, some weird ass lounge music meets doo-wop meets reggae covers. While this song isn't exactly new (it was on his myspace page like 2-3 years ago) it's still good to hear. Acey dropped this for free download on his soundcloud...and i'm just glad to hear some dope "new" shit from him that doesn't sound like shit.

Skillz - Yeah... So What

Skillz rocks over the new Kanye & Jay beat, "Otis." And I kinda think it fits better with Skillz. I mean, the beat is cool, but when I first heard the Jay & Yeezy song, I just didnt think they really fit on it well. Skillz works better in my opinion...

DOWNLOAD: Skillz - Yeah... So What.mp3

Bow Wow - You Drinking Too Much (Video)

Umm... this is kinda dope... With this and the other video of Bow Wow in the studio with Kweli, I'm officially intrigued...

Charles Bradley & Menahan Street Band – Stay Away (Nirvana Cover)

SPIN is putting out a compilation Tribute album to Nirvana, which is to feature various musicians covering the hits. After reading over the artist that will handle this (and googling 3/4 of the groups i've never heard of) I was most ecstatic about the Charles Bradley and the Menahan Street Band's cover of "Stay Away". Surprisingly Bradley and Co. didn't just opt for a straight forward Soul Cover. They really went for the psych/garage sound that Bo Diddley was known for. The outcome is pretty damn AWESOME.

Soul Khan - Soulstice III

Soul Khan drops off a new joint. Take it and run, cause you gotta pay for the next one!

R.I.P. Amy Winehouse 1983 - 2011

If there is one thing that I hate about the internet, it's the fact that so many people can spread so much hate so quickly. It's no doubt that Amy Winehouse had some demons, and we watched her struggle a lot over the years. But the fact that the internet has become a medium for people to try to crack jokes about someones passing makes me sad for what we as consumers, fans and human beings are becoming. No matter the circumstances that surround her untimely passing, Amy Winehouse blessed us all with 2 albums of incredible music. We should remember her for the feelings those songs brought us, and the people we enjoyed them with. Amy Winehouse will definitely be missed... Rest In Peace...

Jay-Z & Kanye West - Watch The Throne Documentary

August 2nd. You already know.

Anthony Hamilton - You x Why O Why

Two new joints surface from one of the most soulful voices in music. Anthony Hamilton. Both joints are cool, but "You" (produced by Jack Splash) is awesome. So sit back, enjoy the soul. And hopefully this is just the beginning of more music to come...

Young Jeezy - Shake Life

Jeezy (who may or may not be "Young" anymore) lets go of the first single from his upcoming, highly anticipated, Thug Motivation 103. And I have to admit... I'm really diggin it. So put down your backpacks and join me...

K. Sparks ft. Jayvine - Purple Clouds

Smooth new joint from K. Sparks. I feel like K. Sparks is kinda slept on, but he pretty consistently drops dope music. And this one is no exception. He's got a new project coming out in September. And thats all I know about it...

DOWNLOAD: K. Sparks ft. Jayvine - Purple Clouds.mp3

Grynch - Mister Rogers

I loooooove this cover hahaha. Anyways, dope new chill joint from Grynch, over the wonderful soundscapes of Jake One.

DOWNLOAD: Grynch - Mister Rogers.mp3

Kyle Lucas & Captain Midnite ft. Murder Dice - Take It Apart

I am so hit and miss with Kyle Lucas. His solo work tends to be pretty consistently dope. And his work with Vonnegutt seems to be consistently not. And his work with Captain Midnite seems to be 50/50. So there I am right in the middle. Anyways, this is the first joint from Kyle and Midnite's upcoming EP, The Sky Is Falling And I'm Fine. I'm assuming it is going to probably be done in the same vein as their last EP, and be heavily ridden with Autotune. But if used correctly (impossible?) it can work... Anyways, check for yourselves...

DOWNLOAD: Kyle Lucas & Captain Midnite ft. Murder Dice - Take It Apart.mp3

Wale ft. 2 Chainz - Globetrotter

New joint from Wale's upcoming album, Ambition. This one features 2 Chainz... Me neither, but you may recognize him from his former name... TITY BOI of Playaz Circle. Yeah, the guy who was down with Ludacris and DTP... Word, anyways, this one's ok. I'm hoping that Wale's non-singles will be more of the "Mixtape About Nothing" Wale. But in reality, which version of Wale is making more money? Exactly... We'll see when Ambition arrives November 1st...

KnockSteady Presents - Speak! - Run Lola Run (video)

So I clicked this on the strength that Knocksteady usually doesn't disappoint. Right decision! I don't know much about this dude, I seen him at a GT event or two before. He's an LA spitter, and seems to have a lot of energy and a fly wardrobe. Check it out for yourselves.

MF Doom - My Favorite Ladys (Equalibrum Rmx)

The homie EQ (Intuitions Producer) drops a remix of MF Doom's My Favorite Ladies. Fucking Beautiful. If your sleeping on EQ, wake the fuck up.

Voli – Darkside

I dig most of what i've heard from this dude Voli. Seems like everything he releases is some sobering emotional shit though. But can't front, he does that shit well. This one is no exception.

First single for Kyle's On Air Mixtape, features Talib Kweli.
