While recently discussing Lana Del Rey, and how on the fence about her I am, I was recommended ZZ Ward. Initially I was also on the fence about this girl. Mainly because the first track of hers I listened to involved her bluesy vocals layered over Tyler The Creator's "Yonkers" beat, and it just kinda didnt feel right to me. But as I continued down through the tracks, I was sold. She has a couple other songs over Hip Hop beats (Wiz Khalifa's "Rooftops," Freddie Gibbs' "Oil Money" and Childish Gambino's "Let Me Dope You"), but she really shines on her original material. Below you will find my personal favorite song off of her 8-track debut EP, Eleven Roses, and below that, you will find a link to download her full EP for free off her official website.
