Mikkey Halsted - Castro (Album)

Chicago's Mikkey Halsted recently released this project Castro which features production from; NO ID, Don Cannon, & Young Chop. I got around to checking it out today and was really impressed. My main problem with Halsted has been the peeks and valley effect that his projects have went through. With this one, I feel its his most cohesive and complete work to date. If you haven't had the time to check it out, I'd recommend doing so.

Common - Ghetto Dreams ft Nas (Video)

When we first heard this song a few months back...then finally got a quality leak of it...I was extremely impressed. Nasir & Common both some how managed to sound young and hungry again. Of course a heater from No ID always helps. Now Common drops the video of the single. THUMBS UP.

Common - Summer Madness

No I.D. laces a new track for Common (Sense) from the upcoming EP, The Pursuit, by the Cocaine 80s. I know what youre thinking, "Who let that guy into the white house!? He's in a crew with cocaine in the name!" Oh, that wasnt it? Oh right. The Cocaine 80s. Its a super group consisting of No I.D., Common, Steve Wyreman, Rob Kinelski, Kevin Randolph, James Fauntleroy, Makeba and many more. And if any of those names after common ring a bell, you get a cookie.
