Throwback of the Day: DJ Jazzy Jeff Edition

Weather out here in So Cal, is pretty fucking beautiful right now. Naturally the music that's coming through my system right now is reflecting that. DJ Jazzy Jeff's 2002 The Magnificent was an underrated & under appreciated release that captured a mood from the beginning & held you there till the end. Throwback of the Day: Master P's Ghetto D Revisited

Fuck your life if you catch feminine feelings over this post. Out right....No Limit from about 1996 to 1998 did things that No Label has came close to doing. Putting out about an album a week for over the course of two years of QUALITY shit is an amazing accomplishment. It burned out fast...but that doesn't mean I don't go back and enjoy some of the gems from that period. I've been contemplating putting together a mix of my favorite tracks from that era...this isn't it...but here's some of my favorite tracks from Ghetto D.

What up yall. I'm still over here trying to deal with this summer heat by drinking the holiest of sacraments known as Blue Moon. Today's throwback come's from what I believe to be a really fucking underrated album. It was off of DJ Mekalek's album entitled Live & Learn. Mekalek is the dj/producer of the group Time Machine. This was one of the Group songs they did on Mekalek's Debut. Shot out to the Summer Time (Will Smith and Jazz) sample.

With it getting Dangerously close to 100 degrees out here in Cali...I resorted to attempting to trick my mind into cooling down my body by drinking cheap beer and listening to Killarmy's FUCKING AWESOME Dirty Weaponry. Side note....I think as a crew Killarmy failed and should've just let Holocaust in...who cares if he's from the West Coast. He murdered every guest appearance he was on on any of their albums.
