I met this random guy back in like 2007. We started chopping it up about hip hop. He was telling be about his friend from New York, named Hassaan Mackey. Told me dude was real nice and I should check him out. Not too much later, he was featured as part of Rawkus Records attempted comeback, called "Rawkus 50," in which they released 50 EP's from different up and coming artists. His EP was titled Soul For Sale, and it was quite dope. Now, Hassaan Mackey links up with producer Apollo Brown to form the group Daily Bread. Theyve just released a mixtape (which can be downloaded below), and are preparing to release their first album Daily Bread, August 19th. This song is from the upcoming LP. If you dig it, grab the mixtape. It's good to see Mackey getting some more shine...
