Dude has got some serious talent. Anyways, Substantial has always been a big fan of Jill Scott, and this is his Jill Scott inspired project. Featuring 17 joints of unofficial remixes, and new songs using Jill Scott samples. Stan is an incredibly dope emcee, so do not sleep on this tape.

Kannon Presents - The Best Of March 2013

I was gonna try to throw this together after work tomorrow, but my plans for tonight fell through. Everyone I know is sick. So here I am, bringing you the 20 illest joints from March 2013. Some dope new shit in this mix too. This month, we saw C Plus reunite with Ski Beatz for a 5 track free EP. Justin Timberlake released one of the dopest collections of music in recent years. Schoolboy Q, John Legend, Big K.R.I.T. and AEli all dropped the first single for their upcoming respective albums. ANTHM linked up with Blu for a stupid dope EP. Drake put on his serious face. Substantial linked back up with Marcus D for an amazing remix to one of his "Home Is Where The Art Is" tracks. I was late on the newest Magic Heart Genies album that dropped last december. Jay-Z hopped on a Kendrick Lamar remix, and Kendrick outshined the shit out of him. TiRon & Ayomari dropped more hot fire. And I discovered Kyle, Roosh Williams, City Lights and The Bullitts. Not a bad month.

New joint from Kokayi, featuring Substantial and Tamara Whoknows. Apparently Kokayi is working on a Remix EP for his QN5 debut, Robots And Dinosaurs. The EP should be out sometime in the next 6 years (as is a fair estimate for most QN5 releases).
