Kannon Presents - The Best Of March 2013

I was gonna try to throw this together after work tomorrow, but my plans for tonight fell through. Everyone I know is sick. So here I am, bringing you the 20 illest joints from March 2013. Some dope new shit in this mix too. This month, we saw C Plus reunite with Ski Beatz for a 5 track free EP. Justin Timberlake released one of the dopest collections of music in recent years. Schoolboy Q, John Legend, Big K.R.I.T. and AEli all dropped the first single for their upcoming respective albums. ANTHM linked up with Blu for a stupid dope EP. Drake put on his serious face. Substantial linked back up with Marcus D for an amazing remix to one of his "Home Is Where The Art Is" tracks. I was late on the newest Magic Heart Genies album that dropped last december. Jay-Z hopped on a Kendrick Lamar remix, and Kendrick outshined the shit out of him. TiRon & Ayomari dropped more hot fire. And I discovered Kyle, Roosh Williams, City Lights and The Bullitts. Not a bad month.

Oh, and if you didn't know; If you don't want to download the full zip file with all 20 songs, you can listen to the whole collection on audiomack below, and right-click-save-link-as to any of the songs you want, and save each individual joint. Now you know.

Big K.R.I.T. - Bonus Cuts from KRIT WUZ HERE

So as it turns out when K.R.I.T.Re-Releases (May 15th?) K.R.I.T. Wuz Here & Return of 4Eva there will be a few bonus cuts that were left on the cutting room floor the first time around. Here goes a few from back when KRIT Wuz Here was released.

Big K.R.I.T. - 4eva Na Day (Video)

All I'm saying is, I told you back in 2010 that K.R.I.T. was gonna be a problem. Live From The Underground drops June 5th.

Fat Trel – Swishers & Liquor (Prod. By Big K.R.I.T.)

Fat Trel drops a new set of visuals off of his Nightmare on E. Street project. This is definitely the best song on the tape....which makes since when you factor in who produced it.

Big K.R.I.T. - I Got This

Say woooord? K.R.I.T. continues to impress. Dudes instrumentation continues to get better and better. Live from the Underground is still on the way.

David Banner - Believe(ft Big K.R.I.T.)

David Banner is gearing up to release Sex, Drugs & Video Games on May 22nd. Anticipation is quickly increasing, especially when he's putting out single like this one, which features fellow Mississippi spitter K.R.I.T.

Big K.R.I.T. - 4Eva Na Day (Mixtape)

One of Hip Hop's most promising up and comers, Big K.R.I.T., drops off his brand new mixtape, 4Eva Na Day. Fully produced and arranged by K.R.I.T. himself, and not a single feature. This is easily one of my most anticipated albums of the last 5-6 months, especially after his amazing sophomore effort, Return Of 4eva, last year. If you dont know, get up on Big K.R.I.T. immediately. Honestly, I completely forgot this was dropping today haha. I got home from work, made dinner, threw on The Wire, and was just kicking back.. This has just changed my whole evening.

Big K.R.I.T. - King Pt 2

Back in EARLY 2010 K.R.I.T. put out THIS, which I have been known to say is, lyrically, K.R.I.T.s best work. He's now decided to put out a squeal of sorts out. No hooks here either.

Mr. Sipp ft. Big K.R.I.T. - Keep It Trill

I dont know who this Mr. Sipp guy is, and honestly, I dont really care. But somehow he got KRIT on a song, and that alone is worth posting. Big KRIT's new tape, 4evaNaDay just got pushed back an extra week, but it's dropping March 5th now, and I'm still anticipating the shit out of it. No big deal, but I told you guys 2 years ago that KRIT was gonna be a problem...

Trae ft. Big K.R.I.T., Jadakiss, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, B.o.B, Tyga & Bun B - I'm On 2.0

Yeah, it also says that it features Mark Morrison, but just using a vocal sample doesnt count as a feature to me. Whats that you say!? A Mark Morrison sample?? Why Yes! It is "Return Of The Mack!" (Like it could have been anything else. Anyways, I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but Trae needs to ease up on the cigarettes or something. Homeboy just sounds like he's whispering. But word. This joint has some heavy hitters on it. So peep game...

Big K.R.I.T. - Boobie Miles (Single)

K.R.I.T. lets go of the official cover for 4eva Na Day and also the first single off of it. It's due out Feb 20th.

The 1st song I wanted 2 release from #4evaNaDay is called Boobie Miles. It’s about over coming all the obstacles that block your dreams, the sacrifices that come with how hard you have to go to obtain your goal, giving your all no matter what the situation, the only difference between a winner N a loser is a winner plays until he wins – K.R.I.T.

8Ball & MJG ft. Big K.R.I.T. - We Buy Gold

8Ball and MJG are two of the illest. And Krit can do no wrong. This song is awesome. It will be featured on 8Ball's upcoming tape, Premro. And Krit's new tape entitled, 4evaNaDay, is slated for February 20th. Lets hope it stays there... Cause this shit is crazy dope...
