Kendrick Lamar - Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe Rmx (Ft Jay Z)

When most folk dial up a remix, we usually get some phoned in shit. That isn't the case with the prince of the Left Coast. Kendrick lets loose two all new verses and if that's not enough he brings in HOVA. Heat.

Kannon's Favorite Songs of January 2013

I've decided I'm gonna start doing these little playlists of my favorite songs of each month. Keep in mind, these songs weren't all released this month, they are just the songs that I've enjoyed most this month. Everything from hip hop to r&b to random ass emo shit like Brolin and Phantom. And this website Audiomack has just become my favorite thing in the world, You can actually stream each song individually, see which ones you like and then download if you want to. Awesome. Anyways, hit that shit and go crazy.

Kendrick Lamar - The Jig Is Up (Dump'n) + Bonus EP

In light of Kendrick's major label debut album selling over 240,000 units in it's first week, Kendrick lets go of a brand new joint featuring production by J. Cole and Canei Finch. And in the midst of just being awesome, he manages to throw in a little jab at Shyne. Which I love.

Now, ALSO... If you are like I am, and you picked up the album last week when it came out, you may have realized that there were 4 different versions of the Deluxe album. The regular deluxe version, the Target version, the iTunes version and the Spotify version. And I hate feeling like I dont have everything that I was intended to hear. So, I gathered all of the bonus tracks from all of the different versions, and combined them into a little "Good Kid m.A.A.d City Bonus EP." In the mix, I also threw in the Jeezy assisted, "West Side, Right On Time," which was originally intended for the album, and "The Heart Part 3" which hit the interwebs the night before the albums official release. Today, I added the above song. So, if you want that whole shebang, grab it below...

Kendrick Lamar - Swimming Pools (Drank)

New joint from Kendrick. This will be on Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City. I dont know if this will be an official single, or just a leak. But it's cool. Sounds a little like ADHD. But it's cool...

MMG ft. Kendrick Lamar - Power Circle

Rozay and the Maybach Music Group gather the ranks, including Gunplay, who seems to be getting more solo shine lately, which is cool with me, for their new video with TDE/Aftermath's Kendrick Lamar. #HASHTAGRUNONSENTENCES

Kendrick Lamar - War Is My Love

New joint from everybody's favorite new emcee, K.Dot. This one is from some Ghost Recon video game bullshit. I dont know. But the song is cool. Kendrick spits from the perspective of a soldier and shit. Word.

Kendrick Lamar - The Recipe (ft Dr Dre Produced By Scoop Deville)

So, I'm falling a little behind here. Trying to remedy that. Kendrick put this Scoop Deville (Kid Frost son) produced joint, featuring The Doctor of the Left Coast. I'm sure you've all heard it, because two days in internet time is like two full moons.... But if by chance you haven't checked it yet...it's heat. Good Kid in Mad City is shaping up to look like a monster.

J’Lynn ft. Kendrick Lamar “Mona Lisa” (Produced by Dashius Clay)

What an unfortunate name for a up and coming NY emcee...Any ways J'Lynn links up with Left Coast spitter Kendrick Lamar. Dashius Clay on the beat. Pretty solid.

Kendrick Lamar - Cartoon & Cereal Ft Gunplay (Single)

Kendrick Lamar drops a new single. He's got another full length, some where on the horizon of 2012. No clue if this will end up on that project...but I'm sure the bulk of us will agree this is some fucking heat. Sounding like something right out the dungeon of the ATLien catalog.

Trae ft. Big K.R.I.T., Jadakiss, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, B.o.B, Tyga & Bun B - I'm On 2.0

Yeah, it also says that it features Mark Morrison, but just using a vocal sample doesnt count as a feature to me. Whats that you say!? A Mark Morrison sample?? Why Yes! It is "Return Of The Mack!" (Like it could have been anything else. Anyways, I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but Trae needs to ease up on the cigarettes or something. Homeboy just sounds like he's whispering. But word. This joint has some heavy hitters on it. So peep game...

BJ The Chicago Kid ft. Kendrick Lamar - His Pain

Doooooope smooth new joint from BJ and Kendrick. BJ's upcoming album, Pineapple Now-N-Laters, is coming soon. I'm super excited for it too. BJ is quickly becoming one of my favorite new singers... Him, Jhene Aiko, and Jesse Boykins III. Word...

Terrace Martin ft. Kendrick Lamar & Wiz Khalifa - Do It Again (Video)

I dont love this song. But I'm still excited for Locke High 2, I guess.

Kendrick Lamar ft. Busta Rhymes - Rigamortus Remix

Kendrick grabs a guest verse from Busta Rhymes for his latest single from the amazing album, Section 80.

Baby/Mack Maine Ft Kendrick Lamar & Ace Hood - B Boyz

This is off of Baby/Mack Maine's latest tape, not a fan of the beat of song in general...but GOOD GAWD did Kendrick Lamar murder that shit.

Rapsody - For Everything [Album]

There's been a few leaks from this tape that i've heard and somewhat liked. Kind of a weird style to be a "9th Wonder protegee"....but there is definitely some talent there. The Kendrick Lamar track is what caught my attention....check that out...then give the tape a spin.
