Willie the Kid & Alchemist - Masterpiece Theatre (EP)

Holy fuck! La's little brother has long ago stepped out his shadow and anyone thinking different needs only to toss this EP in rotation. Point blank Willie has been hard at work for the better part of 3 year and still seems to be slept on, which really is a travesty. But working heads int he industry have always seen the kids potential and work ethic and it's paid off with some really dope collaborations. This time around LA's Alchemist paints the soundscape with some stellar work that he seems to pump out at a 1998 beats by the pound rate. Masterpiece Theater is just that...be sure to check this shit out.

Vince Staples - Stolen Youth (Mixtape / Prod. by Larry Fisherman)

Ive been seeing the name Vince Staples around a little bit lately, and seeing that Q, Soul and Mac Miller fux with him, I decided to give his free 10 track mixtape a quick listen. That was 2 listens ago. Surprisingly dope tape from the kid. Mac Miller as Larry Fisherman on production. And I really dont think there is a bad track in the 10. Even the intro and outro are dope. Give this one a spin.

Nico Segal - Donnie Trumpet (Mixtape)

Nico Segal, formerly of the Chicago crew Kids These Days, drops off his debut jazz ep under the pseudonym Donnie Trumpet. Vic Mensa is all over this shit too, so it's tough to really call it "Jazz," but you know. Besides, there are few things doper than when Jazz and Hip Hop collide.

Chuck Inglish - Droptops (EP)

We've heard Sir Charles Inglish rapping on The Cool Kids albums. We've heard him produce for other people, and even release full instrumental projects. But now we have the official debut collection of Chuck Inglish solo rap tunes. This is however, the prelude EP to his upcoming debut album, Convertables. So grab this ditty for free, get hooked, and pay for the next one.

Binary Star - Binary Star (EP)

Crazy to think that it's been 15 years since the Michigan duo linked up. The duo have recently linked back up and put this EP out. Its a decent project that shows they are headed back to the right form that first grabbed our attention. Stream the EP and Purchase if you feel so inclined.

ANTHM - Handful Of Dust (Mixtape)

ANTHM links up with Blu (as GODlee Barnes) on production for his new EP. Some dope stuff on here. So check it out. For name your price.

JODY - Magique (EP)

I really don't know much about this group JODY. One would assume it's a group comprised of 3 members, but I'm hearing it might be 6. This Magique EP is comprised of 3 actual songs and 3 interludes. All song's are produced by The-Drum. This will draw comparisons to the weeknd with it tripped out stylings and its curse laden content. I however wouldn't go that far as to bolster that claim...but either way this is a solid intro to a group that is gearing up to put out a full length. Color me intrigued.

Tonedeff - Glutton EP

Tonedeff is reinventing the album release. As we have evolved into an ADD nation, Tone has evolved with us. With his latest release, he brings us the Glutton EP. 2.7.5. Chris Travis - Side Effects EP (BRK)

The Black Raider Klan movement continues to grow. It's a trip watching these youngin's develop their sound and get better with each new release. This time around it's Memphis' own Chris Travis turn. This is a pretty damn awesome release. If you're looking for a jump off point to delve into the BRK movement, this would be a great project to start with.

J. Cole - Truly Yours (EP)

So apparently Cole took to twitter int he wee hours of the early morning last night to let loose of a 5-track free ep for the masses. He said that in making this new album, Born Sinner, he's recorded at least 4 albums worth of material, and these are a few of his favorite joints that ended up on the cutting room floor. So enjoy these, and the official first single for J. Cole's sophomore album will be out "this week."

Lee Bannon - Caligula Theme Music 2.7.5. (Instrumental EP)

If you've been following my post over the years, you may know that I'm a huge Lee Bannon supporter. Over those years he's went from the soulful sample based production from Me & Marvin to chop heavy instrumentalist on Box of Toys 1&2, to this gritty & dark stylings on this nod to the BRK movement.

$amhill - The Preface (EP)

Some may remember $amhill from his affiliation with The P Brothers, I know that's where I first heard him. Was glad to see he has put out a 7 track EP to hold everyone over till he puts out his full length. But what's even more awesome is how dope this EP really is. Do yourselves a favor and check it out.
