Casey Veggies - Money don't Buy Time (Prod by Lee Bannon)

Casey links up with one of the most slept on beatsmith's around. This shit is smooth.

Lee Bannon - Caligula Theme Music 2.7.5. (Instrumental EP)

If you've been following my post over the years, you may know that I'm a huge Lee Bannon supporter. Over those years he's went from the soulful sample based production from Me & Marvin to chop heavy instrumentalist on Box of Toys 1&2, to this gritty & dark stylings on this nod to the BRK movement.

Super Helpful (Chuck Strangers, Lee Bannon, & Kwame) - Sumo

Over the Thanksgiving weekend producer Lee Bannon, rapper Kwame and Pro Era MC/producer Chuck Strangers were cooped up in a Brooklyn basement churning out records. The result was the birth of the trio's new group, Super Helpful. "SUMO." is the SH's first single off of their upcoming album slated to drop on January 1st, 2013. Producer Lee Bannon employs a few lights chords that help highlight two MC's off-kilter Brooklyn flows. Get your first dose of Super Helpful after the jump.

Lee Bannon - Nightshift (Video)

Lee Bannon Remixes The Weeknd (Live) from Erick Lee on Vimeo.

Lee Bannon has most definitely become one of my favorite producers over the last year and some change... Here goes some visuals of the Sac Town producer's live preformance of Nightshift which is on his Gnarlon Bando’s Midnight Noir tape.

Lee Bannon - Fantastic Plastic (EP)

West Coast Juggernaut Lee Bannon, has put together a 7 track EP to show the direction he's going in. Check it out here.

Lee Bannon - Search & Destroy (Ft Chuck Inglish)

The homie Lee Bannon lets loose his first single off Fantastic Plastic, which isn't actually due out for awhile (next year). So we'll see if this, fuzzed out glitch hop song makes it. Definitely not the style of production we're used of hearing from Bannon...but the innovative tendencies are still there.

Chuuwee - This One's For You (video)

Best song off of Lee Bannon's and Chuuwee's heater...Hot n' Ready, gets some visuals to run with it. I guess this is in honor of Chuuwee and Ooloo (Canadian clothing company) linking up for a Tee. Check it out Here.

Chuuwee & Lee Bannon - It Was Great Here

Chuuwee and Lee Bannon link back up (thank you based god) for a new album called Fever Hunt to be released on Duck Down Records later in the Fall. Dead Poet it happy about this.

Lee Bannon - Big Toy Box 2 ( Circus Cuts Delux)

It is my very humble opinion that Lee Bannon is one of the, if not the best producers out right now. This kid is bringing the art of the half beat chop back....(RIP DILLA). Big Toy Box 2 : Circus Cuts Delux is his third instrumental outing. I'm going to to go ahead and say put this right up there with Donuts & 14kt's Golden Hour, which to me, are the pinnacle of instrumental based albums. Go ahead and throw this on and let it play without skipping a track....that's how an instrumental album is done. Also check Bannon for Dummies for a crash course on the Sacramento based beatsmith.

Funny, that I had just posted about this kid a few days ago. Then I find this in my email today. All Bannon produced cuts, that is a precursor to Big Toy Box 2. If you haven't checked anything from Bannon, this is a good place to start.

Some Lee Bannon for you's and your's

Hopefully you know who this dude is by now. He's been putting in some serious work as of late. His projects with Chuuwee to Willie the kid were both end to end burners. & now that he's getting ready to drop The Big Toy Box 2 I figured this post should get you out of the dark.
