These are two of my favorite slept on producers out. Both have been around for a long time and had project after project of excellent production that has easily stood the test of time. Maker you may have heard of with his work with Qwel and Galapagos4 and Adeem and GLUE. Joey Beats is probably most known for the album he put out aside Mr. Chubby Vegan himself, Sage Francis. Don't let that throw you off...The production on that album was stellar. His also put out a couple instrumental projects that were fucking awesome....(those will be blogged about soon enough, as i'm working on my top 20 instrumental albums now). Anyways, these two recently paired up to do a spit project with each handling production on five songs. It's an awesome mess of layered boom bap meets progressive sampling. Check out these two free songs, then if you feel so inclined grab the album. It's well worth it.
