Chuuwee - Crown Me King (Album)

Been really busy this last week so I didn't have a time to post up a lot of really dope shit...So I get to play catch up here. I'm sure most of you have already had the chance to check out Sacramento's Chuuwee aka King Chez's Crown Me King that dropped Tuesday (the 24th). If you haven't be sure to get on that shit now. This kid has steadily been pumping out project after project for near two years now and has yet to trip up. This latest offering shows his hunger isn't showing any signs of fading out.

Drumma Boy and the Memphis duo link up for this laid back banger.

Eric Lau - What I’d Rather (ft. Oddisee)

Eric Lau and Oddisee team up once again for this exclusive Record Store Day 7”. With production inspired by Hip-Hop’s Soulquarian era, Lau’s thumping beat and Oddisee’s raw vocals come together perfectly to make a track that purely reverberates with soul!

Eric Lau and Oddisee drop an ode to that neo soul. Order the 7" Now.

Co$$ - Chief (prod by Numonics)

The So Cal rep Co$$ snd the Floridian beatsmith Numonics link up again and drop Chief which will be on the up and coming project, between the two, Genisis. Heat

Ab-Soul - Pineal Gland (Video)

1/4 of the TDE crew drops some fresh set of visuals to a new single that will be included on Control System which is due out May 11th.

Russ - In the Wind f. Jalil

This is just one of those times where I post something that I have NO Clue who it is I am promoting here. I've never heard a peep from this Russ character before this, but somehow this tune fell in my lap, and I must say I'm pretty impressed over here. I found that the dude will be releasing a track a day at until April 24th, which is the day he will be releasing Straight From Limbo. We'll have to stay tuned.

Also be sure to check out his site, I see he's got a lot of free works there.

Fat Trel – Swishers & Liquor (Prod. By Big K.R.I.T.)

Fat Trel drops a new set of visuals off of his Nightmare on E. Street project. This is definitely the best song on the tape....which makes since when you factor in who produced it.

Al Doe Ft. Boldy James and Vado – 5:46 AM

Al Doe drops a new single, featuring; Boldy James & Vado. This will be on his Nose Candy which is set to drop sometime in late May. Shit knocks.

KD - Crown Me (Video)

One of the most anticipated albums of the year (for me) is for sure The Bama Rep KD's Crown Me which is due out May 1st. This will be the first original works project we've heard from KD since he dropped one of the best albums of last year, G Fluid. Here goes the title track, which is produced with long time collaborator, B-Flat Trax.

Chuuwee – Le Père Du Peuple (Video)

Chez drops another video for a single off his upcoming (April 24th) Crown Me King album. Trusty google translate tells me the title means Father of the People. The anticipation for the Sactown spitter is steadily growing.

Joe Budden - Going Thru The Motions (Prod by Klasix)

Joey puts out a bonus cut that will be on the Mood Muzik: Box Set which will be available May 15th.

A$AP Rocky - Goldie (prod Hit-Boy)

Pretty Flaco drops the first single off of Long.Live.A$AP.

RAJA – Mercy Remix

started as a joke cos i only like 2 chainz verse. idk i kept some of big sean in there even tho i hate his verse. whatever

RAJA whittles down the bullshit of G.O.O.D. Music's Mercy and unleashes this rugged muddled remix. Got to say i'll be blasting this more than the original.

Kanye West - Way Too Cold (Theraflu)

Kanye West's IDGAF anthem has just been retitled and shit. Not only did this song put PETA in a crazed rampage about how disrespectful he was, but Theraflu jumped on the bandwagon and wanted nothing to do with this song either. But fuck em both, eh? I had a hamburger for lunch. Either way, I've listened to the song like 4 times and its cool, but I dont think it'll get too many more spins from me. But in general, people seem to be going batshit for it. So here you go. Oh, and I guess technically DJ Khaled is on this song too... but I dont think it counts...

Ab-Soul ft. Jhene Aiko & Danny Brown - Terrorist Threats

New joint from one of the 4 latest signees to Interscope/Aftermath. Anyways, This joint is crazy freaking dope, and I seriously have listened to it probably 30 times in the last week or so...

Curren$y - What it Look Like (Ft Wale)

The Stoned Immaculate is due out June 4th. Expect the visuals for this tune to be out in a few days.

I Self Devine - The Orgin of Urban Crisis + Album Pre Order

I hope you've been following along with I Self Devine these last few months. He's been releasing a new "mixtape" every, first Thursday of the month for 4 straight months in a row. Each tape has consisted of totally original production, which makes the feat that much more nuts. He's basically releasing 5 albums in the last 4 months. Each one has been better than the last. Now we're approaching the golden horizon. Be sure to cop this pre order The Sound of Low Class Amerika. In doing so you will receive the final installment of the Mixtape series The Shinning Path. Support this effort folks. The man has been pumping out quality in quantity. A feat that is pretty damn awe inspiring.

Kendrick Lamar - The Recipe (ft Dr Dre Produced By Scoop Deville)

So, I'm falling a little behind here. Trying to remedy that. Kendrick put this Scoop Deville (Kid Frost son) produced joint, featuring The Doctor of the Left Coast. I'm sure you've all heard it, because two days in internet time is like two full moons.... But if by chance you haven't checked it's heat. Good Kid in Mad City is shaping up to look like a monster.

QuESt - Fear Not Failure (Mixtape)

Miami emcee QuESt finally drops off his latest piece of work, entitled Fear Not Failure. While he sticks to his hip hop roots, this album delves into the world of Electro and Dubstep as well, featuring production by Brazilian Dubstep production crew, Mt. Eden. I've always been a fan of QuESt's music, although I've never really been a fan of dubstep. So we'll see how this all works out. But in the meantime, we can all enjoy this long-awaited release together...
